At WaldHaven Mental Health, we believe that access to quality mental health care should be as straightforward as possible. We work with a variety of insurance plans and also offer private-pay options for individuals, couples, and families seeking support.

Insurance Plans We Currently Accept

We are currently in-network with:

• UnitedHealthcare
• Medica
• Optum-affiliated plans
• Aetna
• Medicare

If you have a different insurance provider, we encourage you to reach out. Insurance coverage can be complex, and we are happy to help you understand your options and determine whether your benefits may include out-of-network reimbursement.

Private Pay & Flexible Options

We understand that not every person seeking therapy has insurance coverage that we are able to accept. We offer private-pay services and are committed to working with individuals and families whenever possible to identify an option that allows them to receive the care they need.

If we are not the right fit for your insurance situation, we will also do our best to help connect you with appropriate resources or providers who may be able to assist.

Why Don’t We Accept Every Insurance Plan?

Many people are surprised to learn that joining an insurance network is not always a simple process for mental health providers. WaldHaven is actively seeking participation with additional insurance networks, including Minnesota Health Care Programs (Medical Assistance and MNCare), Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, and HealthPartners.

At this time, our applications with these networks are delayed due to statewide credentialing and enrollment backlogs that impact many healthcare providers. These delays are outside of our control, but our commitment to serving our community remains unchanged. As soon as we are able to participate with additional networks, we will update this page.
